• Presentation for GC

Presentation prepared for GC (Governing Council) meeting on Power Point Presentation regarding DPEP (what is DPEP, how it works, and the achievement of the same till date). As the GC meeting was going to be held for the first time, the detailed report on DPEP was translated in slide form in PowerPoint on April 6, ’99.

• Presentation for 9th Review Mission

The JRM is a regular process and comes at every six months. This time the progress of six months was discussed with the help of PowerPoint presentation.

• Gujarati Translation of DISE forms and Checklist Preparation

The DISE form (DCF) was in English language and after discussing with the CRCCs and BRCCs, it was found if the forms were in local language, the filling process would be fast and accurate also, Hence, a decision was taken at State level to translate the DCF in Gujarati language. The translation was done and the finalisation is in the process.

• Preparation -Updation of Web Pages for the Website of DPEP

It was decided at State level to develop Website of DPEP and in the process, the requirement of Website i.e. Webpages was developed at initial stage and the site was made available for visitors. The updation and modification is an ongoing process.

• School Level Report Generation for the Data Sharing Meeting

For all schools in Panchmahal, the school level summary report was taken which was later used at the time of discussion with CRCCs and BRCCs regarding data sharing.

• Data Sharing Meeting at Panchmahal with CRCCs and BRCCs

The meeting was held at BRC level for 5 days with different CRCCs.The analysis of the school summary report was done. Also the reaction of Gujarati DISE form was discussed with them. Similar kind of Data sharing workshop was held in Banaskantha. CRCCs were trained on ‘how to fill the DISE forms’

• DISE Manual in Local Dialect

A DISE Manual was prepared in local dialect with photographs of schools registers from where data can be availed.

• DISE DCF form were prepared in local dialect.

Softwares developed

• A Software called " Annual Work Plan and Budget" was prepared which gives facility to work with the budget expenditure and plan activities for the budgeted year, both of the State as well as the Districts.

• A software for Mid -Term Assessment Survey (MAS) is under processing which would provide facilities of data entry and data analysis.

• Analysis of MAS data as per the given formats with the help of inhouse developed software.

• DISE DCF for 1999-2000 has been distributed and the filling of these forms are expected to be completed by Nov-99.

• Preparation of module for Teachers Training and Trainers Training.

• A Teleconference on "DISE-Form Filling training" was held on September 24, '99. All BRCCs, CRCCs and selected head masters were invited to take training at the block level. The detailed training was imparted by the MIS personnels of the state as well as the districts. OIC-Tribal provided the necessary academic help and support.

• Email facility was provided to all the three districts.
